Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M) has announced the expansion of its Advanced Research and Development Centre along with additional testing facilities at Mahindra Research Valley (MRV) in Chennai. The development marks a significant step in strengthening the company’s research and development capabilities and reinforces its focus on the Make in India initiative. The fresh investment at the facility is aimed at enhancing Mahindra’s engineering and testing capabilities in the region, further positioning Chennai as a strategic hub for research and innovation.
The ground-breaking ceremony was attended by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Mr. M. K. Stalin, along with the Minister for Industries, Investment Promotions and Commerce, Mr. T. R. B. Rajaa. The expanded facility is expected to be operational within this calendar year.
