Hyundai Venue N-Line Vs Tata Nexon Price Comparison
Let’s first look at the prices of both the cars for the petrol-manual powertrain.
The Venue N-Line petrol-manual is available in 4 variants with prices ranging from Rs. 12.08 lakh to Rs. 13.11 lakh(ex-showroom). With the petrol-manual powertrain, the Tata Nexon’s prices start at Rs. 8.1 lakh and top out at Rs. 13.5 lakh(ex-showroom).
The Venue N-Line petrol-automatic is available in 4 variants with prices ranging from Rs. 12.87 lakh to Rs. 13.90 lakh(ex-showroom). The Nexon petrol-automatic is available in 10 variants with prices ranging from Rs. 11.7 lakh to Rs. 14.7 lakh(ex-showroom).
The Hyundai Venue N-Line is not available with a diesel-manual powertrain. The 9 diesel-manual variants of the Tata Nexon start at Rs. 11 lakh and go up to Rs. 14.89 lakh(ex-showroom).
The Hyundai Venue N-Line is not available with a diesel-automatic powertrain. The 7 variants diesel-automatic variants of the Tata Nexon start at Rs. 13 lakh and go up to Rs. 15.5 lakh(ex-showroom).
The Hyundai Venue N-Line and the Tata Nexon are both SUVs. The Venue N-Line is 3995mm long, 1770mm wide and 1617mm tall. The Venue N-Line’s wheelbase is 2500mm long. The Nexon measures 3993mm long, 1811mm wide and 1606mm tall and has a wheelbase measuring 2498mm. In terms of dimensions, the Hyundai Venue N-Line is slightly smaller than the Tata Nexon. So, the Nexon will offer a stronger road presence than the Venue N-Line.
The Venue N-Line has a ground clearance of 190mm while the Nexon has a ground clearance of 209mm. The 343-litre boot space of the Venue N-Line is 7 litres smaller than that of the Nexon.
The Hyundai Venue N-Line is only available with a 1.0L turbo petrol engine paired with a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission. This engine makes 120PS of power at 6000rpm and 172Nm of torque between 1500 and 4000rpm.
The Tata Nexon only gets a 1.2L turbo petrol which is available with a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed manual transmission. The 1.2L turbo petrol is also available with a 6-speed AMT automatic transmission and a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission. The 1.2L turbo petrol engine of the Nexon makes 120PS of power at 5500rpm and 170Nm of torque between 1750 and 4000rpm.

The Tata Nexon only gets a 1.5L turbo diesel engine, which is available with a 6-speed manual and 6-speed AMT automatic transmission. The Nexon’s turbo diesel engine makes 115PS of power at 3750rpm and 260Nm of torque between 1500 and 2750rpm.
