11 Features Maruti Suzuki Fronx Gets But Citroen C3 Doesn’t | V3Cars

The Maruti Suzuki Fronx is the latest offering in the B2-segment SUV space and it will go on sale in the coming months. It goes head on with a range of sub-compact SUVs, including the Citroen C3.

Features Maruti Suzuki Fronx Gets Over Citroen C3

In this article, we tell you 11 features that you get in the Maruti Suzuki Fronx but miss in the Citroen C3.

1. Side Thorax And Curtain Airbags

The Fronx offers side thorax and curtain airbags whereas the C3 only offers dual front airbags. Side thorax and curtain airbags reduce injuries in case of an accident.

2. Auto IRVM

The top variant of the Fronx offers an auto dimming inside rear view mirror (IRVM) whereas the C3 offers a basic IRVM. An auto dimming IRVM automatically adjusts the brightness depending on the glare coming from behind. The C3, on the other hand, doesn’t even offer manual day/night adjustment for the IRVM.

3. Electronically-Adjustable ORVMs

The Fronx offers electronically adjustable and foldable outside rear view mirrors. The C3, on the other hand, offers manually adjustable outside rear view mirrors even in the top variants.

4. 360-Degree Camera

The Fronx offers a 360-degree parking camera over the C3, which only gets a reverse parking camera. It is worth noting that a 360-degree parking camera not only offers a bird’s eye view but also warns the driver with an alert in case the system detects any obstacles around the car.

5. Telescopic Steering

The new Fronx gets both tilt and telescopic steering whereas the C3 only gets tilt steering. The former is sorely missed in the C3 as a tilt and telescopic steering helps the driver find the ideal driving position that ensures comfort over both short and long drives.

6. Automatic LED Headlights

The Fronx offers a 3-pot LED headlight setup over the C3, which gets halogen headlights. The Fronx also offers automatic headlights whereas the C3 gets regular headlights. Automatic headlights turn on automatically when you enter a dark environment.

7. Front Armrest

The top variants of the Fronx offer a front centre armrest over the C3. A front centre armrest improves the comfort over those long interstate journeys.

8. Head-Up Display

The Fronx is the only other sub-compact SUV in the country to offer a head-up display. It uses a projection setup to display data like fuel efficiency, vehicle speed, engine RPM and more. The C3, on the other hand, gets a multi-information display, albeit without a tachometer.

9. Keyless Entry With Push-Button Start/Stop

The top variants of the Fronx offer keyless entry with push-button start/stop whereas the C3 only offers remote central locking. The Fronx offers a request sensor on both driver and co-passenger side door handles.

10. Cruise Control

The top variant of the Fronx offers cruise control with both manual and automatic variants whereas the C3 doesn’t offer cruise control in its top variant.

11. Wireless Phone Charger

The Fronx offers a wireless phone charger over the C3. While both the Fronx and C3 offer wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, the Fronx offers better convenience with the wireless phone charger.
