The ongoing Geneva International Motor Show 2018 is a gala affair of great new cars and fantastic concepts like every year, and the auto majors of the world are busy grabbing attention at this important platform which is the largest auto show in Europe. German luxury auto major Mercedes-Benz is of course also busy flaunting some of its mesmerizing models. Apart from showcasing many others, Mercedes-Benz has unveiled a special edition model of its flagship sedan S-Class. Now, as we know the Mercedes-Benz S-Class is already a fancy car packed with luxurious features and functionalities to the brim, but the newly unveiled Mercedes-Benz S-Class Exclusive Edition takes this luxury quotient to the next level. This ultra-luxurious special limited edition of the S-Class will be offered in both the Coupe and Cabriolet versions.
The new S-Class Exclusive Edition flaunts some exquisite exterior styling elements such as the LED Intelligent Light System which is filled with Swarovski crystals. The buyers can choose from two beautiful exterior colour options of the S-Class Exclusive edition - Aragonite Silver and Rubellite Red. The soft top of the cabriolet version is available in two color options - dark red or beige, depending on which exterior color you choose. There are a slew of other exterior styling changes as well including stylish 19 inch multi-twin spoke light alloy wheels which can be ordered in different colour schemes, namely Aragonite Silver or Himalaya Grey with Thulium Silver. The AMG lineup will be boasting of larger 20 inch multi-spoke light alloy wheels finished in high sheen black paint.
On the inside, the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class Exclusive Edition flaunts the “Exclusive Edition” badged cup holder cover on the center console. There is also a special light brown high-gloss trim that’s called sen, which is an Asian hardwood, while there is premium Nappa leather upholstery for the seats, front and rear center armrests, instrument panel, door center panels as well as the map pockets on the driver and front passenger backrests. To add to the premium and exclusive look and feel on the inside there is contrasting topstitching, and a whole lot of other luxurious features including a standard Burmester surround-sound system, a microfiber roof liner and sun visors, exclusive diamond shaped perforated seats, and door sills which are coolly illuminated with the MB lettering. There are some other thrown in added features as well such as special floor mats that are available in a color choice of Titian Red and Porcelain. In a nutshell for those elite customers who have a nose for only very exclusive things, if the standard S-Class lineup was not attractive enough, the new Exclusive Edition is surely the charmer.
The new Mercedes-Benz S-Class Exclusive Edition models will go on sale at the beginning of April. The German luxury auto major has not yet announced the prices of the S-Class Exclusive Edition models, but it is certainly expected to be more than that of the starting price of the ongoing standard S-class Cabriolet version which is $131,400.
