2022 Maruti Brezza – Fresh Looks

The 2022 Brezza will come with a fresh new design. As the spied images suggest, the new Brezza will get sleeker twin-projector headlights, new alloy wheels, and sleeker split LED tail lights. Up front, the Brezza is likely to get a slimmer chrome grille that merges seamlessly with the headlights. At the rear, we expect it to get large ‘Brezza’ lettering on the tailgate.

2022 Brezza – New Age Interiors

The 2022 Brezza will get new-age features to keep up with the competition. A few features worth highlighting include an electric sunroof, a head-up display, 360-degree parking camera, a 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment with telematics, paddle shifters and shark fin antenna. Some of these features have made their way into the 2022 Baleno already, while others such as the shark fin antenna will make their debut with the upcoming XL6 facelift.

2022 Brezza – New Engine And Automatic Transmission

The 2022 Brezza will come with the new 1.5L petrol engine with dual-jet and a mild-hybrid system. It is likely to produce a similar output as the current engine. Currently, the 1.5L petrol engine in the Brezza produces 105PS of power and 138Nm of torque. In addition to the new engine, the 2022 Brezza will also get a new 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission with paddle shifters. The new engine with the dual-jet technology should significantly improve the fuel efficiency of the 2022 Brezza

2022 Brezza – CNG Powertrain

The 2022 Brezza will also get the option of a CNG powertrain. We expect Maruti Suzuki to use the new 1.5L dual-jet petrol engine for the CNG option as well. While the power and torque figures are not known yet, we can expect the same engine to power the upcoming Ertiga CNG. However, it remains to be seen whether Maruti Suzuki take the first-mover advantage by offering the CNG with an automatic transmission or continue to offer the 5-speed manual transmission only.

2022 Brezza – Launch Expected By July 2022

Maruti Suzuki are likely to reveal the prices of the 2022 Brezza by July 2022. It will continue to rival the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV300. Meanwhile, Hyundai India are also preparing to launch the Venue facelift this year.
