Renault India have launched the updated 2022 Kiger with cosmetic changes and feature additions. The 2022 Kiger prices start at Rs. 5.84 lakh ex-showroom. Renault will share the complete price details of the 2022 Kiger soon. Bookings for the 2022 Kiger is set to open on March 31. The 2022 Kiger gets new features like cruise control and a wireless smartphone charger.
Apart from the feature upgrades, the 2022 Kiger gains a front skid plate, chrome boot garnish, red hub caps for the alloy wheels and ’turbo’ side decals. On the inside, Renault have added new trim pieces on the dashboard and given the Kiger new seat upholstery with red stitching. The 2022 Kiger is also available in a new dual-tone yellow and black exterior colour.
The 2022 Kiger continues to be offered with two petrol engines — 1.0L normal petrol and 1.0L turbo petrol. The 1.0L normal petrol engine produces 72PS of power at 6250rpm and 96Nm of torque at 3500rpm. The 1.0L turbo petrol engine, on the other hand, produces 100PS of power at 5000rpm and 160Nm of torque between 2800rpm and 3600rpm. Both petrol engines come with a 5-speed manual as standard. However, buyers can opt for an AMT with the normal petrol engine and a CVT with the turbo petrol engine.
