2023 Honda City Facelift To Offer ADAS Features | V3Cars

Honda Cars India are all set to launch the City facelift on March 2, 2023. With the update, the new City will also offer advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) in its top-spec variants.

2023 Honda City Facelift With ADAS

Up until now, only the e:HEV strong hybrid version of the City sedan offered advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) features. With the facelift, Honda will offer ADAS features even in the ZX normal petrol automatic variant. The ADAS features of the City include the following features:

  • Auto emergency braking (AEB)
  • Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
  • Lane Departure Warning (LDW)
  • Lane Keeping Assist (LKA)
  • Auto High Beam (AHB)
  • Blind spot camera

Apart from the ADAS features, the 2023 City facelift will offer other features like an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, semi-digital instrument cluster, steering-mounted controls, blind view monitoring camera, and a wireless phone charger.

2023 Honda City Facelift Powertrain Details

Honda will offer the City facelift with normal petrol and strong hybrid petrol engine options. Honda have already discontinued the 1.5L turbo diesel engine from the Amaze and City and it is unlikely to make a comeback. Both the 1.5L normal petrol and strong hybrid powertrains of the new City will comply with BS6 phase-2 emission norms. Both engines are likely to comply with E20 fuel as well.

2023 Honda City Facelift Launch Details

As we stated earlier, Honda will announce the prices of the 2023 City on March 2, 2023. The arch rival of the Honda City — the Hyundai Verna — is set to receive a generation change on March 21, 2023. The new City facelift will continue to rival the Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Virtus, Skoda Slavia and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz.
