Ahead of its launch, Hyundai have revealed the dimensions of the 2023 Verna sedan. The upcoming 2023 Hyundai Verna will offer class-leading wheelbase and width, resulting in better kneeroom and shoulder room for passengers.

The new Verna offers the longest wheelbase in the C-segment sedan space, at 2670mm. The wheelbase of the new Verna 2023 is 70mm more than the outgoing Verna. It is also the widest sedan in the C-segment, at 1765mm width, which is 36mm more than the outgoing Verna. The height of the new Verna sedan remains identical to the model it replaces while the length has gone up by 95mm. The 2023 Verna offers 528L boot space, which is the largest in the C-segment sedan space.

New Hyundai Verna Interior And Features

Hyundai claims that the new 2023 Verna will offer class-leading interior space for 2nd-row passengers. Additionally, the increased width should offer improved shoulder room for both 1st- and 2nd-row passengers. The new teaser released by Hyundai also reveals rear AC vents and dual-tone black and beige leatherette seat upholstery. In the video, the rear doors lack window sunblinds, which were expected in the new Verna.

Hyundai also revealed that the new Verna will offer integrated displays like in the Hyundai Ioniq 5.. Furthermore, the new Verna will offer soft-touch materials on the dashboard and door cards to uplift the luxury quotient inside the cabin. Other features of the 2023 Hyundai Verna include a phone holder, a multi purpose console and a cooled glove box.

2023 Hyundai Verna Powertrain Details

The 2023 Hyundai Verna will offer a choice of 2 engine options — 1.5L normal petrol and 1.5L turbo petrol. While the new Verna borrows the 1.5L normal petrol engine from the Hyundai Creta, the 1.5L turbo petrol engine is an all-new engine. New Verna Bookings And Launch Details 

Bookings for the 2023 Hyundai Verna are currently open for a token amount of Rs. 25,000. Hyundai will reveal the complete variant list and prices of the new Verna on March 21, 2023. It will continue to rival other C-segment sedans like the Skoda Slavia, Volkswagen Virtus, Honda City and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz. Honda recently updated the City with a facelift, which offers new features including advanced driver assistance system (ADAS).
