Lexus LM Luxury MPV India Bookings Open

Lexus India showcased the LM MPV, albeit the first-gen model, at the 2023 Auto Expo. Soon after the auto show, the second-gen LM made its global debut in April 2023 and that’s the one launching in India in the coming weeks. Lexus have already started accepting bookings for the upcoming luxury MPV across dealerships.

Like the earlier model, the new LM shares its underpinnings with the Toyota Vellfire, which was recently launched in the Indian market. The new LM carries an updated design both inside and out. At the front, you’ll find an uncanny resemblance to the new Prius thanks to the design of its DRLs. Furthermore, it also carries a large signature Lexus Spindle grille with a slot finish. At the rear, the LM features a sleek flowing LED light bar that incorporates the tail lights.

On the inside, the second-gem LM dials up the luxury to a new level. The highlight of the interior is the large 48-inch ultrawide display for the rear passengers. The display sits on the partition between the first- and second-row and can be controlled via a central control display. However, the display is limited to the 4-seater LM only. For those seeking to transport more passengers, Lexus are also offering a 7-seater version of the new LM.

Since bookings for the new LM are now open, we expect Lexus India to announce the prices of their luxury MPV in the coming weeks. It will sit above the Toyota Vellfire and obviously cost considerably more as well. Just for context, the Toyota Vellfire prices start from Rs. 1.20 crore and go up to Rs. 1.30 crore (ex-showroom).
