2023 Renault Kwid Safety Features

2023 Renault Kwid Powertrain Details

The 2023 Kwid now comes with a sole 1.0L normal petrol engine. Renault have discontinued the 0.8L petrol variants of the Kwid, which were priced against the Alto 800. The 1.0L normal petrol engine of the 2023 Kwid produces 68PS of power at 5500rpm and 91Nm of torque at 4250rpm. Despite complying with upcoming BS6 phase 2 and road driving emission standards, the petrol engine produces identical power and torque figures as before. This engine continues to come with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed automated manual transmission.

2023 Renault Kwid Cosmetic And Functional Updates

Apart from the engine updates, the new Kwid offers turn indicators mounted on the ORVMs and steering mounted controls. Furthermore, the Kwid continues to offer features like an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, digital instrument cluster, reverse parking camera and electrically adjustable ORVMs.

Since the 0.8L variants of the Kwid are no longer on sale, Renault have introduced a new RXE variant with the 1.0L normal petrol engine to keep the entry price low. Renault have hiked the prices of the Kwid by up to Rs. 33,000 (ex-showroom)
