Hyundai India have launched the MY 2023 Creta with enhanced safety features and improved fuel efficiency. The Creta SUV, which competes in the C-segment, now offers 6 airbags along with a whole host of safety features as standard.

Take a look at the safety features that are now offered as standard in the MY2023 Hyundai Creta:
The aforementioned features now come as standard right from the base variant across all powertrain options. Furthermore, Hyundai have also added a 60:40 split folding rear seat as standard.

Hyundai have updated the 2023 Creta with road driving emission (RDE) compliant and E20 fuel-ready engines. The 1.5L turbo diesel engine produces 116PS of power at 4000rpm and 250Nm of torque between 1500rpm and 2750rpm. The 1.5L normal petrol engine is now E20 fuel-ready and produces 115PS of power at 6300rpm and 144Nm of torque at 4500rpm. The diesel engine comes with 2 transmission choices – a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The petrol engine can be had with a 6-speed manual or a CVT transmission.
Furthermore, Hyundai have also added an integrated starter generator with idle start/stop feature. This feature is available across all powertrains and variants of the 2023 Creta. Idle start/stop helps the car burn less fuel in stop-go traffic conditions, thereby reducing CO2 emissions.

Take a look at the prices of the 2023 Creta:
Hyundai have hiked the prices of the Creta petrol manual and automatic by Rs. 20,000 whereas the diesel manual and automatic variants receive a price hike of Rs. 45,000. It is worth noting that Hyundai have removed the 1.4L turbo petrol variants of the Creta from its brochure. Even though the prices of the turbo petrol variants are still mentioned on the brand’s website, we expect the carmaker to remove the 1.4L turbo petrol variants of the Creta soon.
