Tata Altroz Racer To Launch Tomorrow | V3Cars
Tata Motors are set to launch the 2024 Altroz Racer tomorrow. Bookings for the Altroz Racer are currently open for a token amount of Rs. 11,000 and Tata are offering the sporty hatchback in 3 variants. Here’s everything we know about the Tata Altroz Racer ahead of its price reveal.

2024 Tata Altroz Racer Variants And Features
The upcoming Tata Altroz Racer hot hatch will be available in three variants: R1, R2, and R3. The base R1 variant will offer similar features as the XZ trim of the standard Altroz turbo. Moving up, the R2 variant adds a wireless phone charger and a 360-degree camera for enhanced convenience. Finally, the top-of-the-line R3 variant boasts ventilated seats for added comfort.

Meanwhile, the standard Altroz will get an update soon in the form of 6 airbags, 360-degree camera, and a larger touchscreen infotainment system. However, it will lose a feature or two as well. Know more about the Tata Altroz feature updates here.
2024 Tata Altroz Racer Expected Engine Specs
When launched, the Altroz Racer will feature the Nexon’s 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine. Compared to the standard Altroz turbo petrol, the Altroz Racer puts out 10PS more power and 30Nm more torque. The Tata Altroz Racer and Hyundai i20 N Line produce near identical power and torque outputs. Our source told us Tata will only offer the Altroz Racer with a 6-speed manual gearbox at launch. It remains to be seen if Tata offer the Altroz Racer with a dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT) at a later stage.

2024 Tata Altroz Racer Colour Options
Based on the teasers released by Tata recently, we can confirm the Altroz Racer will retain the dual-tone exterior body colour. But the base colour options are limited to 3 — grey, white and orange.
