New Hyundai Venue Crosses 32,000 Bookings In A Month Since Launch – What’s Driving The Demand? | V3Cars
The 2026 Hyundai Venue is off to a strong start. Barely 4 weeks after bookings opened on November 4, Hyundai’s B2-SUV has already gathered over 32,000 bookings. In a segment where almost every brand has a strong contender, such early traction suggests Hyundai have struck the right balance of space, features and familiar engines, the very areas where customers felt the old Venue needed improvement.
If you are considering a B2-SUV, here’s a detailed look at what the new Venue gets right, what;s changed, and what you should evaluate before booking one.
Hyundai Venue 2026: Bigger And Better Than Before
The new Hyundai Venue continues to measure under 4 metres in length. However, it now sits on Hyundai’s updated Global K1 Enhanced platform, which allows it to stay compact but noticeably larger.
Improved 2nd Row Comfort And Boot Space
The new Venue is 30mm wider, 48mm taller and has a 20mm longer wheelbase than the previous model. These numbers translate into practical changes, especially inside the cabin. The new Venue offers better knee room for 2nd row passengers thanks to the stretched wheelbase and scooped seatbacks. It also offers a more usable 375 litre boot compared to the previous model’s 350 litres. All in all, space is no longer a weakness of the Venue. For a family of 4 or highway commuters, the improvement is immediately noticeable.

Offers More Tech Than Before
One of the biggest reasons behind the surge in bookings is the upgraded dashboard in the new Venue. The 2nd generation SUV uses a curved glass panel housing two 12.3-inch displays that serve as the fully digital instrument cluster and touchscreen infotainment system. It also offers wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, which enhances convenience.
The new Venue continues to offer:
- Ventilated front seats
- 4-way powered driver’s seat
- 8-speaker Bose sound system
If you’re choosing an SUV based on tech and cabin ambiance, the new Venue currently offers the most premium digital experience under Rs. 15 lakh. Features like dual screens, ventilated seats and Bose directly address the expectations of buyers upgrading from older hatchbacks and sedans.

Hyundai Venue 2026: Same Engines As Before
Hyundai continue to offer the 2026 Venue with the same 3 engine options as before. The new Venue can be had with a 1.2L normal petrol, a 1.0l turbo petrol, and a 1.5L turbo diesel. While the 1.2L normal petrol is only available with a 5-speed manual transmission, the turbo petrol engine gets the option of a 6-speed manual and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT). Apart from a 6-speed manual, the diesel engine gains a new 6-speed torque converter automatic. The diesel automatic widens the Venue’s appeal for buyers upgrading from older Creta or i20 diesel automatics.
