Q4 2022 - Honda Quarterly Car Sales Figures - YoY Change
- Two of the 4 the Honda cars on sale in India witnessed a growth in sales
- With an 86% decline in sales, the Jazz hatchback was the biggest YoY loser for Honda in 2022
- The City sedan was the second loser for Honda, with a 9.71% decline in numbers
- The WR-V SUV saw a 55% growth in sales numbers in Q4 of 2022 over Q4 of 2021
- The Amaze also saw a good annual growth in numbers, with a 44% growth in Q4 2022 over Q4 2021

- The Honda Amaze was the top selling car for Honda in Q4 and Q3 of 2022
- The Honda Amaze B-segment sedan was the only QoQ winner in Honda’s garage in 2022, with a 26% growth in Q4 over Q3
- The Jazz was the top QoQ loser, with a 84% decline in sales in Q4 compared to Q3 of 2022
- Just 1,407 units of Jazz were sold across the country in Q3 of 2022. This is a very low number for a mass-market offering from a popular brand like Honda, which further slid to just 220 units in Q4
- The Jazz was followed by the City, with a 10% decline in sales in Q4. The WR-V was third in declining numbers in the fourth quarter, with a 6% drop in sales
