Hyundai Introduces 6- And 7-Year Extended Warranty Options For Petrol Cars | V3Cars

Hyundai India have announced extended warranty plans for their petrol range of cars. Buyers can now opt for 6-year or 7-year extended warranty for their petrol cars. It is worth noting that these extended warranty options are also available for existing customers and owners of discontinued models.

The new warranty options come in two slabs — one within 90 days of purchase and the other one is after 90 days of purchase. It is worth noting that the vehicle should fall under the manufacturer’s standard warranty duration to avail the extended warranty option.

Hyundai India stated that buyers with 4-year-old vehicle(s) can opt for extended 6- and 7-year/1,00,000km warranty. Hyundai extended warranty prices range from Rs. 9,521 to Rs. 37,820, depending upon the model and slab structure.

Buyers with 5-year-old vehicle(s) can opt for 2-year/1,00,000km extended warranty and it is applicable for users of the Venue, Aura and Grand i10 Nios. This category also includes discontinued models like the Eon. The prices range from Rs. 6,989 to Rs. 27,762, depending on the model and slab structure.

Buyers who want to extend their 3-year standard warranty can opt for the 4-year/1,00,000km pack. This ranges between Rs. 15,154 and Rs. 46,530, depending on the model and slab structure. It is worth noting that this pack isn’t available for Eon owners.
