Hyundai is set to launch the updated Tucson in India on 14 July 2020, and it will continue to be available with both petrol and diesel engine options. The Tucson facelift was revealed at the 2020 Auto Expo.
Hyundai Tucson Facelift - Cosmetic Updates
The updated Tucson will features minor cosmetic upgrades in the form of revised front grille, new headlamps and tail lamp assembly and redesigned front and rear bumpers.
On the inside, the dashboard will feature a new design and will get a floating-type infotainment system. The updated model is expected to get features like wireless charger and panoramic sunroof.
The updated Tucson will be available in 2 variants -- GL(O) and GLS. Tucson 4WD will exclusively be available with the GLS variant.

Petrol: The updated Tucson will be available with a 2.0L petrol engine paired with a 6-speed torque-converter type automatic transmission. The power and torque output of this engine will be 150PS and 192Nm, respectively. Previously, the petrol Tucson was rated to deliver 155PS of maximum power.
Diesel: The 2020 Tucson will be available with a 2.0L diesel engine paired with an 8-speed torque-converter type automatic transmission. The power and torque output of this engine will be 182PS and 400Nm, respectively. Previously, the diesel Tucson was rated to deliver 185PS of maximum power.

The petrol-powered Tucson, which will be available with the FWD drivetrain only, will offer a claimed fuel efficiency of 13.08kmpl. In the BS4 era, the Tucson petrol, with an automatic transmission, was claimed to deliver 12.95kmpl.
The diesel-powered Tucson, which will be available with both FWD and AWD drivetrains, will offer a claimed fuel efficiency of 16.98kmpl (2WD) and 15.59kmpl (4WD). In the BS4 era, the Tucson diesel-automatic was offered with a claimed fuel efficiency of 16.38kmpl, 0.6kmpl lower than the new BS6 figure.
