Kia Carens Clavis Updated For 2026; New GT-Line And X-Line Variants Introduced | V3Cars

The Kia Carens Clavis has received its MY26 updates, bringing a host of feature revisions and new variants. The nuggets highlight is the introduction of new GT-Line and X-Line variants, wider availability of sunroof features and the addition of a more affordable ADAS variant.

Kia Carens Clavis GT-Line & X-Line Variants Introduced

Kia have expanded the Carens Clavis lineup with the introduction of GT-Line and X-Line variants. These variants are only available with the 1.5L turbo petrol engine and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT). Prices range from Rs. 19.81 lakh to Rs. 21.57 lakh (ex-showroom).

The GT-Line variants offer a sportier design with elements such as new alloy wheels, lime green brake calipers, blacked-out exterior elements, metal pedals and revised bumpers. The X-Line variant offers a more stealth look with an exclusive matte grey or black exterior colour option and blacked-out styling elements. These variants also offer the option of a 6-seater configuration with captain seats.

New Carens Clavis ADAS Variant Introduced

With the MY26 update, Kia have introduced a new HTX(O)A variant equipped with ADAS. This variant is only available with the 1.5L turbo petrol engine. Earlier, ADAS was limited to the top HTX Plus turbo petrol variant. The addition of the new HTX(O)A variant has made ADAS more accessible by Rs. 86,000 when compared to the MY25 Carens Clavis and by Rs. 1 lakh with the MY26 model.

Sunroof Now More Accessible

Similarly, Kia have made the sunroof feature more widely available across the Carens Clavis lineup. The HTK Plus variant now gets a single-pane sunroof. This feature was earlier limited to the HTK Plus (O) variant. The HTK Plus variant also gets other features from higher variants such as LED headlamps and a dashcam.

Meanwhile, the HTK Plus (O) variant now gets a panoramic sunroof, which was a feature that was earlier reserved for HTX and above variants.
