Lamborghini Reveal The Aventador Ultimae In India — The Last Hurrah For Unadulterated V12 | V3Cars

Lamborghini India have revealed the final installment of the current-generation Aventador — the Aventador Ultimae. The Aventador Ultimae is the last Lamborghini to come with an unadulterated naturally-aspirated V12, without any hybridisation. Only 350 coupe and 250 roadster examples will go on sale, with a handful of units allotted for the Indian market.

The Lamborghini Ultimae comes with the most-powerful incarnation of Lamborghini’s naturally-aspirated V12. The 6.5L petrol engine makes 780PS of power and 720Nm of torque at 6750rpm. The engine channels power to all four wheels via a full-time 4-wheel-drive system and a semi-automatic 7-speed transmission. The Aventador Ultimae can do  the 0-100kmph sprint in just 2.8 seconds and has a top speed of 355kmph.

Thanks to the extensive use of carbon fibre and other lightweight materials, the Aventador Ultimae coupe weighs 25kg less than the Aventador S, while delivering a power-to-weight ratio equivalent to that of the Aventador SVJ. The Aventador Ultimae also gets 4-wheel steering for supreme agility and maneuverability.

The first Aventador to hit our shores is the Roadster with a bright yellow shade. We expect more examples of the Aventador Ultimae to arrive here with tasteful specs and customisations. The Aventador Ultimae marks the end of this generation of Aventador supercar. The successor to the Aventador is likely to be powered by a V12 with a strong hybrid setup.
