According to Mahindra, if all of these orders go through, then this will bring them a revenue of 18,000 crore. The deliveries will start from September 26, 2022 and Mahindra may prioritise the deliveries for the top-spec Z8L variants. Mahindra also recently reported that they have a huge bookings backlog of 1.5 lakh. With such a massive open order book, according to our estimates, new orders will have a wait time of 18 months to 2 years. Given the high demand for the Scorpio N, it’s likely to steal some resources from XUV700 to scale up the production. With such a move, we can see both the cars having a waiting period of 1.5 - 2 years.
