Maruti Suzuki has announced a Monsoon Service Camp in the country from 9th July to 30th July, 2018. The 22 days long Monsoon Camp will be organized all Maruti Suzuki dealerships including Nexa and Arena in India. The camp will offer complimentary vehicle health check-ups to ensure customer’s cars are ready to endure the Indian monsoon as the vehicles will be examined by the trained and well-qualified technicians for safe and hassle-free driving during the monsoon.
Announcing the service camp, Partho Banerjee, Executive Director (Service), Maruti Suzuki India speaking about the camp said, “Being a company that keeps the customer first, Monsoon Service Camp has been curated to offer exceptional service quality for the health of the vehicle which will help avoid break-down during heavy rains. Our objective of this service camp is to reinforce the bond with our customers by providing them the first step towards prevention during monsoon. The camp will benefit the customers by providing them necessary care and maintenance in the challenging season of monsoon.”
The Maruti Suzuki Monsoon Service Camp will focus on the key component areas of the vehicles such as Brakes, Windscreen, Wiper Blades, Battery, Electrical System, Tyres and others with an added benefit of discounts on parts and accessories. Maruti Suzuki has been in so much in news for quite some time for several good reasons. The automaker recently released its sales report for June 2018 where it reportedly registered 44 per cent sales growth as compared to June 2017. The major contributors in the sales growth are the Swift, Baleno, Dzire, Celerio and the Ignis.
The automaker launched the 2018 Swift in the country at the Auto Expo in February this year and since then Maruti has sold more than 1 lakh units till date in the country. Not only the Swift, but the Baleno by the manufacturer has also crossed the milestone of selling 4 lakh units in the country since its launch across the globe. Maruti Suzuki is also planning a facelift of Baleno by 2019. Other than these, the Indo- Japanese automaker also successfully achieved the milestone of selling more than 3 lakh AMT units of its cars in the Indian market and the Vitara Brezza compact SUV crossing the 3 lakh sales milestone as well.
Currently, Maruti is expected to bring the all-new second generation Ertiga MPV to India in the coming months to be followed by the facelift of the Ciaz mid-size sedan. Both the models are expected to come powered by a new K15B 1.5-litre petrol engine that will replace the current 1.4-litre unit from the existing powertrain list.
