Upcoming Cars In April 2026 - Taigun Facelift, MG Majestor And More | V3Cars
Here’s a look at all the cars that are expected to launch in the month of April 2026. Our list includes new models from the likes of Volkswagen, MG Motor, Mercedes-Benz and Toyota.
1. Volkswagen Taigun Facelift

Volkswagen are set to debut the updated Taigun facelift in India on April 9, 2026. This mid-cycle update will bring several design and feature upgrades to the SUV, similar to the recently updated Skoda Kushaq.
The Taigun facelift is expected to feature updated LED headlamps and tail lamps, illuminated VW logo as well as revised bumpers and new alloy wheels. On the inside, it is expected to get a larger 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a panoramic sunroof and rear massage seats.
Mechanically, the SUV is likely to continue with the existing engine options. However, the 1.0L turbo petrol engine could receive a new 8-speed automatic transmission, improving highway efficiency and refinement.

2. MG Majestor

MG are expected to launch the Majestor SUV in April 2026 as their new flagship ICE offering in India. The Majestor will replace the Gloster and rival premium SUVs like the Toyota Fortuner.
The MG Majestor is expected to offer 6- and 7-seater configurations, a 2L twin-turbo diesel engine, RWD and 4WD options, dual 12.3-inch screens, a panoramic sunroof and 360-degree camera. It will also offer an ADAS suite.
With its bold design, large dimensions and feature-loaded cabin, the Majestor is expected to target buyers looking for a premium ladder-frame SUV experience.

3. Mercedes-Benz CLA EV

Mercedes-Benz are expected to introduce the all-electric CLA in India this month. The CLA EV will be one of the most important EV launches from the brand, replacing multiple entry-level models in their lineup.
Key highlights include an 85.5kWh battery pack, up to 792km claimed range (WLTP), rear-mounted electric motor and a 14-inch infotainment system with new MB.OS
The CLA EV is expected to offer a blend of luxury, performance and efficiency, targeting buyers looking to enter the premium EV segment.
4. Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella

Toyota are also expected to launch the Urban Cruiser Ebella EV in April 2026. This will mark Toyota’s entry into the mass-market EV segment in India.
The Ebella EV will be offered with 49kWh and 61kWh battery pack options offering up to 543km claimed range. Like the e Vitara it is based on, the Ebella will be offered with a front-wheel drive setup, Level-2 ADAS, dual digital displays and 360-degree camera. Prices are likely to start from around Rs. 16.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
