Chez car maker Skoda has posted the first set of official images of its upcoming new Karoq Scout SUV model. Along with the official images, Skoda has also revealed some important details about the new vehicle model. The new Skoda Karoq Scout SUV will be making its first public appearance at the upcoming 2018 Paris Motor Show which will be held in the month of October.
The upcoming new Karoq Scout will be coming endowed with All 4 Wheel Drive system as a standard feature. The new Skoda Karoq Scout is nothing, but the sportier version of the Karoq SUV, which is in line with the other Scout models from the house of Skoda such as the Kodiaq Scout model that is already available for sale in the global car markets. The new Karoq Scout will also be flaunting sportier exterior styling elements to make it appear tougher as well as to offer added off-roading capabilities. The model will also be endowed with a handful of added new equipments to further mark it apart from the standard version of the Skoda Karoq SUV.
Under the hood, the new upcoming Karoq Scout SUV model will be coming packed with an engine range comprising of three units, namely a 1.5 litre petrol engine that is good to generate a max power output of 150 hp; and a 2.0 litre diesel engine which will be available in two states of tune – 150 hp and 190 hp. The petrol and the higher power output diesel engine options of the Karoq Scout will be offered for sale equipped only with an automatic transmission gearbox, while the lower powered diesel version will be available with an automatic as well as a manual transmission option to choose from.
When it comes to the exterior cosmetic updates of the upcoming Karoq Scout SUV to make it look tougher as well as to mark it apart from the stock model, the Czech car maker has endowed the model with scuff plates, sump guard and a metallic rear bumper. The Karoq Scout will be boasting of coming with 18 inch alloy wheels as a standard feature, while the larger 19 inch alloys will be offered as an option. Moreover, the sporty SUV will be flaunting dark tinted windows and of course the Scout badging.
The Karoq Scout will also carry the special touches on the inside as well. The new SUV model will be offering a touch of added premium look and feel with new seat upholstery with exclusive Scout logo, while brown highlights in the cabin will be a hint to remind of the model’s enhanced all-terrain capabilities. The model will also offer premium features such as the Virtual Cockpit digital dials and in-car Wi-Fi as a part of its standard package.
As far as the Indian car market is concerned, Skoda is likely to launch the standard version of the Karoq SUV sometime in 2019, while there are yet no words regarding the possibility of the Karoq Scout to make it to the Indian shores.
