MG are yet to reveal other details of the next-gen Hector. We expect it to feature a new design and more features than before. With the new-gen model, MG could also finally introduce a diesel automatic option for the Hector. Currently, the Hector and the Hector Plus come with a FCA-sourced 2.0L turbo diesel and a 1.5L turbo petrol engine. While the diesel engine gets a sole 6-speed manual transmission option, the 1.5L turbo petrol engine comes with a 6-speed manual, CVT and a hybrid option as well.
