In this October 2022 Tata car sales analysis article, we’ll look at the car sales of Tata Motors for the last month. We’ll also compare the YoY and MoM change to find out which Tata cars’ sales improved and which ones declined. Lastly, the table with monthly sales for the last 6 months will give you an idea about the 6-month sales trend of all Tata cars.

October 2022 - Tata Car Sales Figures - YoY Change

The Tigor and Nexon were the top gainers with 144% and almost 34% YoY growth, respectively
The Altroz was the biggest loser with a 31.66% decline in dispatch numbers in October 2022 YoY comparison analysis, followed by Safari with 3.84% YoY decline in the month of Octiber
The Nexon is the big volume car in Tata Motors’ portfolio, and now the Punch is following closely in second spot.
The Nexon and Punch are the only 2 cars in Tata’s portfolio with a 5-figure monthly sales figure The Tiago is a distant 3rd, with just about half the dispatch numbers of the Punch, with around 7,000 units sold in October 2022
YoY change for the Punch is not available as it wasn’t on sale in October 2021

In terms of MoM change, Safari was the biggest loser with an MoM decline of 13.74%.
Safari was followed by 10.36% decline and Altroz with 8.74% MoM decline
Tigor was the top gainer in October 2022 MoM comparison with 8.14% gains
