MG Continue Selling Old Hector — Updated Price List | V3Cars

MG Motor India launched  the Hector and Hector Plus facelifts at the 2023 Auto Expo. At the event, MG shared their plans to keep the older models on sale alongside the facelifts. Even though MG are yet to update the prices of the old Hector on their website, we have got our hands on the new prices for the older version of the SUV.

The old MG Hector continues to come in 5 variants — Style, Shine, Smart, Sharp EX and Sharp. The updated petrol manual prices start Rs. 14.73 lakh and go up to Rs. 19.10 lakh ex-showroom. The prices of the petrol CVT range from Rs. 16.98 lakh go up to Rs. 20.08 lakh ex-showroom. Lastly, the prices of the diesel manual range start from Rs. 16.27 lakh and go up to Rs. 20.71 lakh ex-showroom.

Old MG Hector Powertrain Details

While MG have ditched the 1.5L turbo petrol engine with the 48V mild hybrid system for the Hector facelift, it continues to be offered with the old version of the Hector. Apart from that, both the old and new Hector SUVs share their petrol and diesel engine options.

Old MG Hector Vs Hector Facelift — What’s Different

Since both the old Hector and Hector facelift are on sale alongside each other, buyers may be confused between the 2 SUVs. The updated Hector facelift not only brings a fresher design but a couple of new features, such as  14..0-inch touchscreen infotainment system and Level-2 ADAS. However, the latter is only available in the top-spec Savvy Pro petrol CVT variant. In terms of prices, the base Style variant of both SUVs come at Rs. 14.73 lakh whereas the top variants of the Hector facelift command a premium of up to 1.65 lakh ex-showroom.
