With the price hike, Skoda have also rejigged the features in the Slavia range. The Slavia no longer gets the 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Replacing that is a new 8.0-inch Panasonic-sourced infotainment system which sadly misses out on wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. However, Skoda will not remove wireless charging as we reported earlier.

Skoda Slavia goes up against the popular Honda City, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Hyundai Verna and the upcoming Volkswagen Virtus. While Volkswagen are gearing up to launch the Virtus sedan on June 9, Hyundai India have begun the testing of the next-generation Verna.
