The recently-launched Tata Altroz CNG is the newest CNG offering in the country and it offers several must-have and feel-good features. Let’s find out how it compares against its closest rival, the Glanza CNG, in terms of safety, style, entertainment and functional features.

Before we start comparing the two premium CNG hatchbacks, here is a quick look at the common features available in the Tata Altroz CNG and Toyota Glanza CNG:
Both the Altroz CNG and Glanza CNG offer a host of safety features in addition to a tilt-adjustable steering wheel, automatic headlights, front and rear power windows, day/night IRVM, LED DRLs, alloy wheels, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and a flat-bottom steering wheel.
Take a look at the features of the Altroz CNG that are missing in the Glanza CNG:
It is worth noting that while Tata offer the CNG powertrain with most variants of the Altroz, including the top variant, Toyota only offer the CNG option in the middle 2 variants. Hence, the Altroz CNG offers more good-to-have features like wireless phone charger, cabin air purifier, cooled glove box, sunroof and a shark fin antenna.
Take a look at the features of the Glanza CNG that are missing in the Altroz CNG:
Despite Toyota not offering the CNG powertrain in the top-spec variant, the Glanza CNG offers features like side and curtain airbags, hill hold control, 60:40 split folding rear seats and wireless connectivity for both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The aforementioned features are missing even in the top-spec Altroz CNG.
