Tata Motors Tie Up With Amazon – Alexa Now On Offer In New Harrier, Safari, Nexon & Nexon EV | V3Cars

Tata Motors have tied up with Amazon to offer Alexa Built-In in their newly launched SUVs such as the Harrier and Safari facelift as well as the new Nexon and Nexon EV. The integration of Alexa in the new Tata SUVs allows users to various key functions through their voice.

According to Amazon, Alexa Built-in allows the user to voice-control a wide range of functions in their Tata SUV in English, Hindi, or Hinglish. Users can set the temperature, adjust the screen brightness, operate the sunroof, and more. For example, one could say, “Alexa, open/close the sunroof”, or “Alexa, set temperature to 20 degrees” to operate the sunroof and HVAC, respectively. The new Tata SUVs also allow customers to voice-control the 360-degree camera by simply saying, “Alexa, turn on my 360-degree camera”.

“We already experience AI in multiple facets of our lives, and this will only continue to grow. With Alexa AI, we have unlocked the potential of voice interactions to seamlessly integrate into our customers' daily lives,” said Dilip R S, the director and country manager for Alexa, Amazon India. “This collaboration with Tata Motors will enable customers to continue experiencing much of what they know and love about Alexa from their home, in their Tata Motors vehicles, with added functionality for car controls and navigation," he added.
