    Exterior Comparison:

    Hexa is an all new SUV designed by Tata Motors and how is it going to look? According to reports it does resemble Aria but the company has introduced a brand new style statement. On the front is a professionally designed clamshell bonnet design. The design of the headlight is classy and the brushed aluminum insert builds the aesthetic value of the car. The styling of the bumper is great and it is covered in shiny brushed aluminum metal and at the bottom there is a wide air dam. The trendy looking fog lights have illuminating LED daytime running lights.

    There are some modifications on the present XUV500, the chrome covering on front grille is replaced with black shade. All variants except for the base model have projector headlights fitted with light guides. Mahindra has inserted new seventeen-inch alloy wheels and it is fitted only in the W8 and W10 models. The features that make XUV500 look classy and sporty is cladding strips, roof rails and twin exhausts. The other great and unique feature is electric sunroof with anti-pinch.

     

    Hexa vs XUV500 Interior Comparison:

    The interior of Hexa looks posh and the interior will have a dual tone layering covered in sparkling brushed metallic inserts. The design of the steering wheel is new and it will have multi-functional switches. The framework of the central console is great and it has a large dimension and on it is stunning infotainment system with air con unit. This is a seven seat car, there are bench seats in the first and second row and the third compartment has bench seats. The quality of material covering the seats is premium, and on the most-loaded variants, the seats will be covered in leather upholstery. For optimum comfort the car has cup holders, armrests, power windows with one touch operation and adjustable driver’s seat.

    The interior of XUV500 looks amazing covered in a stunning dual tone black and beige décor and the W8 and W10 variants have seats covered in plush upholstery. The attractiveness of the interior is defined by the Icy Blue lounge lighting, and the mid-level and base models have tilt power steering and the top-end W10 car has telescopic steering. For high-levels of comfort the W4 car has six-way adjustable seat and the W4 model has eight-way adjustable driver seat. The comfort features present are rich seven-inch color touchscreen infotainment display with integrated music system with CD, iPod, handsfree call, Bluetooth audio, USB and GPS connectivity. 

     

    Engine Comparison:

    Tata Hexa is powered with a fierce 2.2-liter four-cylinder diesel engine engineered with an advanced common rail fuel injection technology. This engine generates 400Nm and 154bhp.

    XUV500 is built with an efficient 2.2-liter mHawk diesel engine that yields 330Nm and 140bhp.

     

    Verdict:

    Hexa and XUV500 has equally appealing exterior and both cars are feature loaded, Hexa however runs on superior engine power and is therefore a better car to buy.
