Initially, we were skeptical about whether this software update would indeed add features like cruise control and multi-regen modes to the older Nexon EV, owing to the lack of physical controls for these operations. However, it turns out that Tata Motors have found a way to integrate the controls for these features into the multi information display of the older Nexon EVs.

It is worth noting that Tata are offering the new software update via their dealerships by appointing dates to the customers.

In addition to these features, the OTA update also brings smartwatch connectivity and tyre pressure sensors. We are yet to find out how the tyre pressure monitoring would function in the Nexon EV.
