Like the Harrier facelift, the new Tata Safari features a muscular bonnet and thin LED DRLs that double up as turn indicators. The LED DRLs are connected by a slim LED light bar. The headlamps are placed in separate pods lower down on the revised bumper and as expected, the LED headlamps and fog lamps are arranged in a vertical manner this time around. The revised grille gets vertical body-coloured to increase the style quotient. A huge silver skid plate completes the rugged appeal of the Safari up front.

The new Tata Safari also offers roof rails, a panoramic sunroof and a shark fin antenna. Around the side, the Safari facelift features 19-inch dual tone alloy wheels. Other highlights include Safari’ badges lower down the front doors.

The rear of the new Safari 2023 features LED tail lights that look slimmer than before. The LED tail lights are connected by a thin light strip this time around. Tata also offer a roof-mounted spoiler with a high mount stop lamp. The reflectors and turn indicators are placed at either ends of the bumper white the tailgate features Safari’ lettering.

2023 Tata Safari Facelift Powertrain Details

The Safari facelift continues to feature the same 2.0L turbocharged diesel engine as before. It produces 170PS of power at 3250rpm and 350Nm of torque between 1750rpm and 2500rpm. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic. The claimed mileage of the Tata Safari manual is 16.30kmpl while the Safari automatic offers 14.50kmpl. Earlier, we had reported that Tata were likely to offer the Safari with their new 1.5L turbo petrol engine. However, that is not the case.
