Tata Tiago NRG CNG Launched — Prices Start From Rs. 7.40 Lakh | V3Cars

Tata Motors have launched the Tiago NRG CNG in India at a starting price of Rs. 7.40 lakh ex-showroom. Tata Tiago NRG CNG is the 3rd CNG model to join Tata’s CNG portfolio after the Tiago CNG and Tigor CNG.

As is the case with the Tiago CNG and Tigor CNG, Tata Motors charge a premium of Rs. 90,000 for the Tiago NRG CNG over the corresponding variants of the Tiago NRG petrol. Interestingly, the Tiago NRG CNG comes at the same price as the Tiago XZ+ CNG. However, the Tiago NRG CNG XT costs Rs. 30,000 more than the Tiago XT CNG.

Tata Tiago NRG CNG Powertrain Specs

The Tata Tiago NRG CNG is equipped with a 1.2L petrol-CNG powertrain that produces 73PS of power at 6000rpm and 95Nm of torque at 3500rpm on CNG mode. When driven on petrol, it produces 86PS of power at 6000rpm and 113Nm of torque at 3300rpm. The CNG only comes with a 5-speed manual transmission whereas Tata offer the petrol variants with the option of the same manual transmission and a 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT).

Tata Tiago NRG CNG Exterior Design

The Tiago NRG CNG comes with a redesigned front fascia. It comes with a chrome grille, black elements on the bumper and a chunky skid plate. Around the side, the Tiago NRG CNG gets styled wheels, body cladding and 177mm ground clearance. At the rear, the Tiago NRG CNG gets a skid plate and NRG badging on boot.

Tata Tiago NRG CNG Interior And Features

On the inside, the Tiago NRG offers features like touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, reverse parking camera, keyless entry with push-button start/stop, digital instrument cluster, all-black interiors, electrically-adjustable ORVMs and an 8-speaker sound system.

Tata Tiago NRG CNG Colour Options

Tata Tiago NRG CNG comes with 4 colour options:

- Green

- Red

- White

- Grey

Over the Tiago, the Tiago NRG CNG offers a rugged design with body cladding and skid plates, along with 177mm of ground clearance and retuned suspension. The Tiago NRG CNG goes up against the likes of the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso CNG and Maruti Suzuki Celerio CNG.
