The motor, battery and other crucial components that Toyota plan to manufacture in India will support the Urban Cruiser Hyryder’s 1.5L TNGA strong hybrid powertrain. It combines a 1.5L 3-cylinder Atkinson cycle engine with 2 electric motors, a small battery pack and a control unit. The result is a staggering fuel efficiency of 27.97kmpl.
