Toyota India have announced the prices of their latest offering — the Innova Hycross MPV. The prices of the new Innova Hycross’ prices start from Rs. 18.30 lakh and go up to Rs. 28.97 lakh ex-showroom. As the official prices are now out, let’s compare the Innova Hycross’ launch prices with our expected prices and see how close we were.
Toyota Innova Hycross Expected Vs Launch Prices
Take a look at the price comparison of the Innova Hycross:
As you can see in the table above, our expected prices for the Innova Hycross are well in the range of its launch prices, except for the G-SLF and ZX hybrid variants. The base G-SLF variant of the Innova Hycross is priced at Rs. 18.30 lakh, which is Rs. 80,000 more than our expectations. The VX hybrid variant only commands a premium of Rs. 1,000 over our expected price. The gap between the launch price and our expected price for the ZX hybrid was bigger, at Rs. 1.33 lakh. The top-spec ZX(O) hybrid variant, on the other hand, undercuts our expected price by Rs. 3,000.

It is worth mentioning that we only calculated the expected prices for the 7-seater variants of the Innova Hycross. Toyota also offer an 8-seater option with the G-SLF, GX and VX hybrid variants and they carry a premium of Rs. 5,000 over their corresponding 7-seater variants.

The Toyota Innova Hycross comes with 2 engine options — a 2.0L normal petrol and a 2.0L strong hybrid petrol engine. The Innova Hycross is the first car in its class to come with a strong hybrid powertrain, which offers a segment-best fuel efficiency figure of 21.1kmpl.
