Updated (Sep 29, 2025): Please note that these are the full & final GST prices of the Volkswagen cars and SUVs. These new prices have come into effect as of September 22, 2025.
Because of the price cuts, the prices of Volkswagen cars and SUVs have gone down by as much as 8.77% or Rs. 3.27 lakh with the Tiguan R-Line petrol-auto (DCT) showing the biggest price drop. In terms of absolute amount, the Tiguan R-Line sits at the top of the price drop list among all Volkswagen cars & SUVs. However, in percentage terms, the Taigun stretches as far as 8.77%.
Volkswagen Model-Wise Price Reductions

1. Virtus
For the Volkswagen Virtus, the GST price drop is in the range of Rs. 39,900 and Rs. 66,900. This translates to a flat rate cut of 3.45% for Virtus buyers.
2. Taigun
For the Volkswagen Taigun, the GST price drop is in the range of Rs. 40,700 and Rs. 1.63 lakh. This translates to a rate cut of 3.45% to 8.77% for Taigun buyers.
3. Tiguan R Line
For the Volkswagen Tiguan R Line, the GST price drop is of Rs. 3.27 lakh. This translates to a rate cut of 6.67% for Tiguan R Line buyers.
4. Golf GTI
For the Volkswagen Golf GTI, the GST price drop is of Rs. 2.09 lakh. This translates to a rate cut of 3.95% for Golf GTI buyers.
