On the occasion of Malayalam new year, Volkswagen delivered 175 cars in a day in Kerala. The 175 cars delivered included the Taigun, Tiguan and the Virtus. Volkswagen arranged this mega-delivery program to mark the beginning of the festival season across the country, starting with Onam.
Volkswagen earlier created a new record in the India Book of Records and the Asia Book of Records by delivering the highest number of cars in a single day from a dealership. Speaking of their future plans, Volkswagen aim to launch the ID4 electric crossover in India.

Currently, Volkswagen India offer the Virtus sedan, Taigun SUV and Tiguan SUV. The ageing Polo and the Vento have finally been taken off the shelves by Volkswagen. While the Vento serves as a spiritual successor to the Vento, the brand has no plans to introduce a replacement for the Polo anytime soon.
