Volkswagen Celebrate 1 Year Anniversary Of The Taigun With A Special Edition | V3Cars

The Volkswagen Taigun is 1-year-old and the German carmaker is celebrating the occasion with a special Taigun Anniversary Edition. Based on the Taigun Dynamic Line (1.0L turbo petrol), the anniversary edition features several design enhancements over the standard SUV.

In terms of changes, the Taigun anniversary edition gets 1st edition badging on the side fenders and steering wheel, black ORVMs, C-pillar graphic, door visors, door edge protectors, aluminium pedals, contrast black roof and body-coloured door garnish.

Volkswagen Taigun Anniversary Edition

The Taigun Anniversary Edition gets all the features available with the top-spec Topline variant of the standard SUV. Hence, it gets wireless mobile charging, all adjustable headrests, 6 airbags, hill hold control, ventilated front seats, digital instrument cluster, cruise control and a touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Since the Taigun Anniversary Edition is based on the Taigun Dynamic Line, it is only available with the 1.0L turbo petrol engine. VW offer the Taigun Anniversary Edition the option of 2 transmissions – a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic.

Volkswagen state that the additional accessories offered with the Taigun Anniversary Edition are worth Rs. 30,000. However, the Taigun Anniversary Edition’s prices are the same as the Topline variants. The Taigun Anniversary Edition is available in 3 colours, including red and yellow and a new blue paint option.
