TATA.ev And Shell Launched 21 Mega Charging Hubs (Press Release) | V3Cars
TATA.ev partnered with Shell India Mobility to launch 21 Mega Charging Hubs across major cities and highway corridors. The new hubs featured 120kW fast chargers and multiple charging bays to reduce waiting times. The expansion strengthened their high-speed public EV charging network across India.

In line with its mission to build an EV charging network that is accessible, fast, and dependable, TATA.ev has collaborated with Shell India Mobility to introduce 21 new TATA.ev x Shell Mega Charging Hubs across Bengaluru, Chennai, Mysore, Pune, and Vadodara. These hubs are equipped with 120 kW fast chargers to enable quick and reliable charging with minimal wait times. Designed to offer a premium experience, the facilities include on-site charging marshals to assist customers, fresh food and beverages at Shell Select and Deli2go stores, hygienic restrooms, and curated menu offers exclusively for Tata EV owners.
With this addition, the TATA.ev Mega Charging Hubs network has expanded to over 130 operational sites nationwide. The expansion forms part of the company’s broader ‘Open Collaboration 2.0’ framework, under which TATA.ev is working with Charge Point Operators (CPOs) to establish high-speed charging corridors across major intercity routes and urban centres. The company aims to introduce over 400,000 charging points, including 500 TATA.ev Mega Charging Hubs, by 2027, with the objective of enabling seamless long-distance EV travel across India.
TATA.ev Mega Charging Hubs are designed to deliver a guided and seamless charging experience, supported by a trained on-ground team that assists customers with charging, vehicle care, and access to refreshments. The hubs are equipped with a minimum of 120 kW ultra-fast chargers and are strategically located along prominent user routes across cities and highways. TATA.ev customers can avail of up to a 25 percent discount on charging tariffs. The locations are carefully selected to ensure high reliability and convenience, offering access to fresh food and beverages along with hygienic washroom facilities.
