The Tata Altroz is available with multiple engine options: a 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.2L CNG and a 1.5L turbo diesel. Altroz's 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol engine is available with a 5-speed MT Manual, a 6-speed AMT Automatic and a 6-speed DCT Automatic transmission and it makes 88PS of power at 6000rpm and 115Nm of torque at 3250rpm. Altroz's 1.2L CNG engine gets a 5-speed Manual transmission which churns out 74PS of power at 6000rpm and 103Nm of torque at 3500rpm. Altroz's 1.5L turbo diesel engine gets a 5-speed MT Manual transmission which is rated to deliver 90PS of power at 4000rpm and 200Nm of torque between 1250rpm and 3000rpm.
