The 2026 Maruti Arena Brezza’s new 1.0L turbo petrol variants start at Rs. 7.40 lakh, ex-showroom. The engine produces 110PS and 170Nm and is only offered with a 6-speed manual transmission. We compare its prices, specifications and claimed mileage with 8 turbo petrol SUV rivals to identify where the Brezza turbo makes the strongest case.

Maruti Suzuki offer the Brezza turbo in 4 core variants. The ZXi and ZXi Plus also offer dual-tone colour options. You can find details of every Brezza powertrain combination in our complete 2026 Brezza price list.
The following table lists the current Brezza turbo prices:
The range stretches from a value-focused LXi to a feature-loaded ZXi Plus. The ZXi is the key variant because it stays below the important Rs. 10 lakh ceiling while adding most of the turbo range’s useful safety and convenience features.
The following table compares the turbo petrol-MT price range of the Brezza with its 8 SUV rivals. The Sonet uses an auto-clutch manual transmission (ACMT), while the XUV 3XO range includes both its turbo petrol engines.
The Brezza has the lowest starting price, but it undercuts the Nexon by only Rs. 90. Its range then overlaps nearly every major price band in this comparison.
Therefore, the more useful question is which rival variant competes with each Brezza variant.
The following tables compare each single-tone Brezza variant with the closest-priced variant from rival SUVs. Dual-tone derivatives are excluded because they do not add equipment.
The following table compares the Brezza LXi with the 4 nearest turbo petrol-MT alternatives:
At Rs. 7,39,900, the Brezza LXi has the lowest entry price here. It also gets a 6-speed MT, while the similarly priced Nexon Smart uses a 5-speed MT.
The Kylaq and XUV 3XO offer more torque for modest premiums.
The Brezza counters with competitive claimed mileage and the lowest initial price. Our Brezza Variants Explained rates the LXi as suitable for budget buyers, though buyers may want to add a music system, rear parcel tray and TPMS through accessories.
The following table compares the Brezza VXi with its 4 closest turbo petrol-MT rivals:
The Brezza VXi sits inside an extremely tight price cluster. Its price does not give it a clear advantage over these rivals.
It mainly suits buyers who want more factory-fitted equipment than the LXi offers but cannot stretch to the ZXi. Flexible buyers should compare the ZXi’s additional safety and convenience features before deciding.
The following table compares the Brezza ZXi with the 4 turbo petrol variants positioned within Rs. 15,000 of its price:
The Syros, Venue and Nexon produce more power than the Brezza. However, the ZXi counters with blind spot warning, safe exit warning and rear cross-traffic alert.
It also offers front parking-assist sensors, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), cruise control, auto headlamps and a rear wiper and washer.
This balance makes the ZXi our top recommended Brezza turbo variant. Our Brezza ZXi vs Nexon Creative Camo comparison examines the closest sub-Rs. 10 lakh contest in greater detail.
The ZXi Plus costs Rs. 1,31,000 more than the ZXi. It is worth considering if you specifically want the Brezza’s top features. The following table compares the Brezza ZXi Plus with the closest turbo petrol-MT variant from 4 rival SUVs:
However, the 131PS XUV 3XO RevX A sits only one small price step above it. The ZXi Plus is therefore easier to justify for buyers already committed to the Brezza than for those comparing overall value.
For most Brezza turbo buyers, the ZXi remains the better-balanced choice.
The following table compares the manufacturer-claimed engine specifications and mileage figures of all 9 SUVs:
The Brezza does not lead this comparison on engine output. The higher-output XUV 3XO is the specification leader with 131PS and 230Nm.
Among the 1.0L SUVs, the Venue, Sonet and Syros offer the most power. The Kylaq produces 5PS and 8Nm more than the Brezza. The Brezza sits near the middle of the segment on paper. However, it felt responsive during everyday city driving in our 2026 Brezza turbo first-drive video.
On the other hand, the Brezza LXi and VXi lead this comparison with a claimed mileage of 20.47kmpl. The Kiger follows closely at 20.38kmpl, while the 131PS XUV 3XO claims 20.10kmpl. Even the lower Brezza figure exceeds every rival apart from the Kiger and higher-output XUV 3XO. The Brezza therefore combines competitive performance with some of the strongest claimed mileage figures here.
Maruti Suzuki only offer the Brezza turbo with a 6-speed MT. Buyers wanting an automatic Brezza must choose the 1.5L normal petrol engine.
All 8 rivals also offer automatic options with their turbo petrol engines.
The Brezza turbo makes a strong case in the lower and middle parts of its price range. Its price advantage over the Nexon Smart is negligible, so buyers should compare their equipment carefully.
The ZXi is the standout variant. Several similarly priced rivals produce more power, but the Brezza combines competitive performance, strong claimed mileage and useful safety features. This makes it one of the better-balanced choices around Rs. 10 lakh.

The ZXi Plus is harder to justify purely on value. Buyers spending over Rs. 11 lakh gain access to the more powerful XUV 3XO and better-equipped variants of other rivals.
Buyers prioritising outright engine output should consider the XUV 3XO. Those prioritising claimed mileage should shortlist the Brezza LXi or VXi, with the Kiger offering a close alternative. Buyers who need an automatic must also look beyond the Brezza turbo.
For most Brezza petrol-manual buyers, the ZXi turbo remains our top recommendation.
