2022 Toyota Glanza CNG Homologated — Engine Power, Torque, Mileage | V3Cars

The Toyota Glanza shares its underpinnings, powertrain and equipment with the Maruti Suzuki Baleno. Earlier, we shared the brochure of the Glanza that revealed the arrival of the Glanza CNG. As per a new media report, Toyota have homologated the Glanza CNG and it is likely to launch soon.

2022 Toyota Glanza CNG

As per the document, Toyota will offer the Glanza CNG in 3 variants — S, G and V. The Glanza CNG will come with a 5-speed manual transmission. Owing to the CNG cylinder in the boot, the Glanza CNG gains 40kg over its petrol variants.

When running on CNG mode, the Glanza CNG will reportedly produce 77PS of power whereas with petrol, it produces 90PS of power. We are yet to get the official torque output of the Glanza CNG. It is worth noting that the Swift CNG makes use of the same powertrain, which produces 99Nm of torque. The 2022 Glanza CNG mileage could stand at 28kmpl - 29 kmpl.

2022 Glanza CNG Specs

Apart from the CNG powertrain, we do not expect the Glanza CNG to offer any other changes. It will continue to offer features like 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, telematics, automatic climate control, 360-degree parking camera, head-up display, automatic headlights and cruise control. Toyota could charge around Rs. 95,000 more for the CNG powertrain over its corresponding petrol variants.
