Mercedes-Benz have taken the wraps off the GLC Coupe SUV. The updated model offers a tapering roofline with sportier styling over its standard SUV counterpart.

2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe Exterior Details

The new GLC Coupe is offered with the Avantgarde trim as standard, which includes a star-studded front grille with a large tristar logo in the middle. The Avantgarde package for the GLC Coupe also includes 18-inch alloy wheels and lots of chrome. While the front of the GLC Coupe looks no different from that of the standard GLC, its side profile features a tapering roofline, lending it an SUV coupe bodystyle. At the rear, the GLC Coupe features slim LED tail lights, twin exhaust tips and a lip spoiler.

2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe Interior And Features

On the inside, the new GLC Coupe takes design inspiration from the new S-Class. It gets a flowing centre console that houses the 11.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which offers wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also gets a 12.3-inch digital display for the driver with multiple visual themes. Other features include powered and heated front seats, wireless charging, smartphone integration and a panoramic sunroof.

2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe Powertrain Details

With the new-gen model, the GLC now gets mild-hybrid support with all powertrain options. Currently, the C-Class is the only Mercedes-Benz to offer a mild-hybrid diesel powertrain. The mild-hybrid engine options come with an integrated starter generator that boosts power and torque by 23PS and 200Nm as and when needed. The plug-in-hybrid models come with a 138PS electric motor and an all-electric driving range of up to 131km.

2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe Launch Details

At their annual press conference, Mercedes-Benz India announced 10 models for 2023. The new GLC SUV will hit our shores in the 3rd quarter of 2023 and we can expect the GLC Coupe SUV to launch in India in early 2024. The new GLC Coupe will rival other coupe SUVs, such as the BMW X4 and Land Rover Range Rover Velar.
