The Tata Nexon EV with the larger 45kWh battery pack is available in 5 variants. Prices range from Rs. 13.99 lakh to Rs. 17.19 lakh (ex-showroom). Surprisingly, the Nexon EV 45’s base Creative variant is more affordable than the Nexon LR’s base Fearless variant, which is good news for those looking to buy the Nexon EV on a tight budget but do not want to sacrifice driving range.
Apart from the bigger battery, the new Nexon EV variants also get additional features over the Nexon EV LR and MR variants. These include a panoramic sunroof and a frunk.

Speaking of range, the Nexon EV 45 offers an ARAI-claimed range of 489km, which is 24km more than the claimed range of the Nexon LR equipped with the 40kWh battery pack. Tata Motors claim a real-world driving range of 350-370km per charge based on their C75 driving cycle. In comparison, Tata claim the Nexon LR with the 40kWh battery pack can cover around 290-310km per charge. Finally, the Nexon EV 45 is capable of charging its batteries from 10-80% in 48 minutes, which is 8 minutes faster than what it takes to charge the Nexon EV long range variant.
