Maruti Suzuki Brezza has been one of the best-selling compact SUVs in its segment. Ever since its launch, it has been bringing 5 digit sales for the carmaker. It rivals the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue and Kia Sonet.

In this article, we share the features that are missing in the Nexon but available in the Maruti Suzuki Brezza.
The new Brezza offers 2 front thorax airbags and side curtain airbags over the Nexon, which comes with only 2 front airbags. However, the Nexon gets a 5-star Global NCAP crash test rating while the new Brezza is yet to be crash tested by Global NCAP.
The new Brezza offers a 360-degree parking camera over the Nexon, which only gets a reverse parking camera. It is worth noting that a 360-degree parking camera not only offers a bird’s eye view but also warns the driver with an alert in case the system detects any obstacles around the car.
The new Brezza is the first sub-compact SUV in the country to offer a head-up display. It uses a projection setup to display data like fuel efficiency, vehicle speed, engine RPM and more. It is worth noting that the Nexon gets a digital instrument cluster but the Brezza gets digital dials.
The new Brezza gets an all-LED setup for the headlights. Its headlights get twin LED projector setup whereas the lower bumper also gets LED fog lights. The Nexon, on the other hand, gets halogen projector headlights and halogen fog lamps.
The new Brezza gets both tilt and telescopic steering whereas the Nexon only gets tilt steering. The former is sorely missed in the Nexon as a tilt and telescopic steering helps the driver find the ideal driving position that ensures comfort over both short and long drives.
Along with the new 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission, Maruti Suzuki also offer paddle shifters with the new Brezza. The Nexon, on the other hand, lacks paddle shifters. However, it offers an automated manual transmission, or AMT, with both petrol and diesel engine options.
The new Brezza comes with ambient lighting for the door cards and footwell. It is worth noting that the ambient lighting in the new Brezza is not configurable and comes with a single blue colour only.
The new Brezza comes with a 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and telematics. It is worth noting that Maruti Suzuki are soon likely to roll out an update that will bring wireless functionality for both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The Nexon, on the other hand, gets a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
