C-Segment SUV April 2022 Car Sales - YoY Change

• The Hyundai Creta is the only C-segment SUV with a 5-figure sales in April 2022 as well as April 2021
• The Duster, Koroq and T-Roc are no longer on sale
• The Karoq and T-Roc have served their purpose as a stop-gap solution until Skoda and Volkswagen bring their made-in-India Kushaq and Taigun
• The Kona and Nissan Kicks are the top gainers with 317% and 148% YoY gains, respectively in the month of April 2022
• Among the top losers are the Tucson and Scorpio with a decline of 55% and 24%, respectively

C-Segment SUV April 2022 Car Sales - MoM Change

• In MoM sales figures  as well, the Creta maintains a clear lead over the rest of the C-segment SUVs as it’s the only one with a 5-figure sales in March as well as April 2022
• The Kia Seltos maintains its position in the second spot for another consecutive month
• The Hyundai Kona and the Nissan Kicks are the biggest gainer with 2400% and 121.5% MoM gains, respectively
• The MG Astor, Hyundai Tucson and Scorpio are the biggest losers suffering a MoM loss of 89%, 57% and 55%, respectively
