Mahindra & Mahindra has unveiled an updated version of the electric hatchback of e2o at the ongoing Auto Expo. The 2018 Mahindra e2o is scheduled to be launched in the country this year itself, however, the automaker has not officially revealed the launch date yet.
Under the hood, the upcoming Mahindra e2o facelift gets a 3-Phase Induction Motor capable of producing 39 bhp of maximum power and a peak torque of 91Nm while the transmission duty is carried out by direct drive system. On the other hand, the electric power comes from a 72V battery with a range of 140 km at once, when charged completely. The battery takes 9 hours to charge with a regular charger while with a fast charger it takes only 90 minutes to get 80% charged.
