BMW Launch M4 50 Jahre M Edition At Rs. 1.53 Crore | V3Cars

BMW have launched the M4 50 Jahre M Edition in India at Rs. 1.53 crore. The BMW M4 50 Jahre M Edition is the fourth model out of the 10 50 Jahre M Edition models slated for our market. It comes with several sporty bits along with the new BMW M logo.

BMW M4 50 Jahre M Edition

The 50 Jahre M Editions of BMW are special editions launched to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their M division. BMW have already launched the 50 Jahre M Edition of the M340i x Drive, 6 Series GT and 5 Series in India.

BMW M4 50 Jahre M Edition

Speaking of the changes, the BMW M4 50 Jahre M edition gets a gloss black vertical kidney grille, new BMW M Motorsport logo, M-specific gloss black ORVMs, a rear spoiler, black chrome exhaust tips and BMW laser lights. The special edition also gets 19-inch front and 20-inch rear forged alloy wheels finished in matte bronze. Colour options for the special edition are limited to blue and red.

On the inside, the M4 50 Jahre M Edition gets the M steering wheel, heated seats with lumbar support, special door sills and a metal plaque on the centre console and seat headrests. The M4 50 Jahre M Edition also gets a carbon fibre roof for weight reduction. Customers also have the option to go for the M Performance steering wheel finished in carbon fibre and Alcantara and carbon exhaust tips.

BMW M4 50 Jahre M Edition

The feature list of the M4 50 Jahre M Edition include adaptive M suspension, 3-zone auto AC, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, head-up display and a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system.

Just like the standard version, the special edition M4 Coupe is powered by a 3.0L twin-turbo 6-cylinder petrol engine that produces 510PS of power at 6250rpm and 650Nm of torque between 2750rpm and 5500rpm. The engine is mated to an 8-speed TC automatic transmission. The Sports Coupe is available with a 4-wheel drive system. The M4 can accelerate from 0-100kmph in a claimed 3.5 seconds.
