In this December 2022 Mahindra car sales analysis, we’ll look at the car sales of Mahindra for the previous month. We’ll also compare the YoY and MoM change to find out which Mahindra cars’ sales improved and which ones declined. Lastly, the table with monthly sales for the last 6 months will give you an idea about the 6-month sales trend of all Mahindra cars.
December 2022 - Mahindra Car Sales Figures - YoY Change
- The Mahindra Scorpio range (Scorpio Classic and Scorpio-N) that briefly took the top spot in terms of sales in September was overthrown by the Mahindra Bolero in October and continues its lead in December.
- Although the Scorpio SUVs lost their top spot this month, they were still the top gaining models for the carmaker, with about 300% growth in terms of December YoY change. We are ignoring the numbers of the Marazzo because it's a very low volume car and does not offer a fair picture.
- The Thar was the second best gainer for Mahindra, with a 58% YoY growth in the month of December.
- Alturas G4 was discontinued by the carmaker.

December 2022 - Mahindra Car Sales Figures - MoM Change
- All cars from Mahindra’s catalogue saw their MoM sales drop except the Scorpio pair, which saw a growth of 8.5%
- Amongst the mass-market Mahindra cars, the XUV300 saw the biggest decline of 18%, followed by the Thar and Marazzo with a decline of around 15%
- Alturas G4 has been discontinued
