In this July 2022 cars sales analysis article, we’ll look at the YoY and MoM change in sales figures of all B2-segment hatchbacks in India. Where applicable, we’ll also include our observations based on the sales data and possible reasons behind a massive increase or drop in sales. B2-Segment Hatchback July 2022 Car Sales - YoY Change

The Maruti Baleno was the biggest gainer, with a 22% YoY gain in the month of July 2022
The Honda Jazz was the biggest gainer, with a 144% gain in June 2022 YoY comparison, whereas taking a totally opposite route, it is the biggest loser in July 2022 YoY, with a 42% decline in sales numbers

B2-Segment Hatchback July 2022 Car Sales - MoM Change

In terms of MoM sales figures, the Honda Jazz is again the top loser, with a 42.5% decline in production numbers
The Hyundai i20 followed the Jazz, with a 13.23% loss in sales compared to June 2022
Toyota Glanza was the top gainer, with a 162% rise in July MoM comparison
The Baleno was the only B2-segment with a 5-figure sales in July 2022
