Mini JCW 1to6 Edition Revealed

Mini JCW 1to6 Edition is limited to just 999 units worldwide and all of them feature a 6-speed manual transmission. This could very likely be the last Mini to feature a proper manual transmission since the brand is moving towards electrification very quickly. Mini will reveal the JCW 1to6 edition at the 24 hours of Nurburgring race on May 20, 2023.

The JCW 1to6 Edition features a few details that make it different from the regular JCW iteration. To start with, all the design elements are now finished in piano black and it also gets a paint stripe running from the bonnet to the rear apron. When seated inside, you get to see the ‘one of 999’ decal placed on the sunroof. Furthermore, it offers plenty of ‘1to6’ stickers and badges on the inside to remind you that you possess a rare car.

It also offers an all-black interior with several red inserts, which compliment the red ambient lighting, inside the cabin. The highlight of the interior is the 6-speed manual gearbox with red lettering.

Mini are yet to reveal the complete specifications of the JCW 1to6 edition. What we know so far is that it offers 231PS of power, which is channeled to the front wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission. Like the JCW, the 1to6 edition could feature a 2.0L turbocharged petrol engine that produces 231PS of power and 320Nm of torque between 1450rpm and 4800rpm.

The Mini John Cooper Works 1to6 Edition will go on sale in markets like Europe, USA, Canada and Mexico in September 2023. Since it is a limited-run model, Mini are unlikely to bring the 1to6 Edition to the Indian market.
